Christmas Eve, Oh Finally!

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve lunch with my parents. It was definitely a houseful: Grandma Diane, Grandpa Bill, Grandma Kate, Josh, me, Misha, Sebastian, Tanya, Aaron, and Bud!

Misha wanted to play chess, and of course, Grandpa is always up for that! It was hard to pull them away from their game to eat. :)

The sisters: Tanya and Tammy. And Sebastian!

The grandparents: Grandpa Bill, Grandma Diane, and Grandma Kate enjoying my mom's delicious feast.

Tanya and Aaron with the mashed potatoes. :)

Grandma Kate and her youngest son Bud (aka Trystan).

Tanya, Aaron, and Bud with rumbling stomachs. (Don't worry, these pictures aren't necessarily in order. It's not as if the grandparents were feasting as the next generation waited for the leftovers!)

Rosy cheeks after a brief venture into the snow with Bud.

Sebastian discovering the presents under my mom's tree.

Later that day, we all hung out at our place, watching the snow swirl down and making peanut butter balls and playing with the kids. Aaron and Bud headed up the peanut butter ball committee. Having so many people around makes everything feel cozy.

Other things we've up to in the days leading up to Christmas:

Art projects with Misha,

making sure Bud gets the full benefit of SD by including him in the shoveling,

and lots of cuddling.

Here is a video of Sebastian dancing as Josh plays guitar. He's got rhythm!
